Artwork is the most import first step to insure your labels will be produced with the quality you will expect. We have experienced artists that are here to ensure your labels will be produced with the highest quality. We prefer Adobe Illustrator native files with all links layers and font files, however if your artwork is another format, our full service art department is experienced with all computer design software programs and will make your art-work!

Procedures:
Artwork is the most import first step to insure your labels will be produced with the quality you will expect. We have experienced artists that are here to ensure your labels will be produced with the highest quality. Typically, the first proofs will be emailed to you within 48 hours of your order date. Additional proofs due to revisions will be back to you within 24 hours of your notification of change and do note that rush services are available. Press Proofs will be ready to be mailed or pickup within 72 hours of placement of order. Once proofs are submitted the orders do require a written email notification of approval or changes submitted before proceeding to production.

Artwork Checklist:
  • Provide files in their native format (Illustrator, Freehand, Photoshop, etc.).
  • Provide all graphic links and all fonts.
  • If images touch the edge of the label, please "bleed" or extend these images at least 1/16 of an inch beyond the edge.
  • RGB images should be converted to 4 color process (CMYK).
  • Avoid typesetting in Photoshop. The only exception should artistic looking elements that can only be done in Photoshop. For all other typesetting such as nutrition facts, ingredients, etc., use an application such as Illustrator or Quark.
  • Avoid Microsoft programs such as Word or Publisher when creating your artwork.
  • DO NOT set traps. This will often give a false impression of the art will look like since most office printers are incapable of printing the artwork with the traps shown.
  • Provide a color hardcopy or label sample to match colors if at all possible.
